Volunteers’ Week gave us the perfect opportunity to celebrate our wonderful team of helpers with a delicious cake (baked by Sarah M – thank you!). The group would not run without the support of our lovely team who give up their time to enable our riders to enjoy their love of horses. It’s not just leading the ponies during sessions though…
Our volunteers: plan and set up all the activities; groom, tack and untack the ponies; organise refreshments; take payments; serve on the committee; coach the sessions; undertake training to maintain and develop skills; pick up droppings in the arena; and much more! Thank you all for your help – we appreciate everything you do!
